This wine embodies a secret from Alentejo. A secret about the soul of Vidigueira that requires tranquility in the telling and an Alentejan calm, free from daily concerns, as peaceful as the rolling plains of Herdade do Peso where this wine was born. Listen, breathe, taste. In Portuguese, 'sossego' means 'peace' or 'quiet'. The name says it all.

Tasting notes

Vibrant ruby/violet colour. This wine has intense notes of red fruit and a hint of wood from the casks in which it matured. In the mouth, it is soft, with some tannins present, and elegant. It has well-balanced acidity and a long finish.
