Offley

LBV

Offley Late Bottled Vintage (or LBV) is a premium Porto from a single vintage, bottled between the 4th and 6th years after the harvest. It may be drunk immediately or after some ageing in bottle, according to preference. This wine is very much in the style of the prestigious Offley brand, contemporary, yet drawing on nearly 3 centuries of experience.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby colour. Intense aroma with notes of plum and black cherry, an attractive chocolatey aspect deriving from the wood maturation, along with resin and cedar and a dash of pepper. A smooth wine with good tannins and balanced acidity, notes of chocolate and resin and a long, balanced finish.
