Mateus Family Edition is a wine created not only to honor its creator, Fernando Van Zeller Guedes, but also to celebrate the wealth of knowledge about rosés accumulated since 1942. It is a DOC Bairrada wine, made with grapes selected from vineyards growing in premium, south-facing plots with limestone soil and an Atlantic influence. It undergoes an extended aging process in barrels, which adds aromatic complexity and depth to the taste.
