Framingham

F-Series Pinot Noir

The grapes for the 2017 F-Series Pinot Noir come from two vineyards leased by Framingham Wines. The main component (65%) is Clone 5 from Westview, on Conders Bend Road, just below the winery, where the soils are sandy clay. The remainder (35%) comes from Clone 115 on Dry Hills Lane, in the southern part of the Wairau Valley, where the soils are heavy clay. All grapes are harvested by hand.
