Quinta do Seixo will celebrate St. Martin’s Day with roasted chestnuts, a tasting of this year’s wines, and a special lunch at the SEIXO by Vasco Coelho Santos restaurant. An event brimming with flavor and tradition to enjoy on November 11 with the best view of the Douro River!
“Fire, chestnuts, and wine.” This is the theme for celebrating St. Martin’s Day at Quinta do Seixo. The program begins at 11:30 a.m. with a guided tour of the winery, where, beyond the wine presses and barrels, windows open onto the vineyards now painted in beautiful autumn colors. But while listening to and talking about Port wine and its stories is always captivating, on November 11, Quinta do Seixo raises the bar and offers a tasting of this year’s wines, giving participants in this program the opportunity to discover the freshness and vitality of the wines from the harvest that is now coming to an end. All of this—and since it’s a “magusto”—will be enjoyed alongside the best roasted chestnuts! To end the evening on a high note, the restaurant SEIXO by Vasco Coelho Santos has designed a special São Martinho menu, paired with wines carefully selected for the occasion.
