Enjoy the magic of the full moon with a picnic under the moonlight. This is Quinta do Seixo’s suggestion for the evening of September 29, so you can fully enjoy the last of this year’s four supermoons. A unique and exclusive experience, featuring fine wines and a special menu prepared by the restaurant SEIXO by Vasco Coelho Santos.
The event begins at 7:30 p.m., with Port wine-based cocktails served against a magnificent view of the Douro River, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Following a brief candlelit walk through the vineyard, guests make their way to the churchyard of the Quinta do Seixo chapel. This is where the magic happens. The year’s final supermoon illuminates a small table where the first moonlit picnic will be served. Great Douro wines accompany the menu specially designed by the Seixo by Vasco Coelho Santos restaurant for the occasion. The soft melody of a musician in the background stirs the emotions of those who have never had such an experience in the Douro.
