October 21, 2025 – This Halloween, Sandeman Cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia is preparing an evening filled with mystery, excitement, and discovery. On October 31, visitors are invited to take part in the Sandeman Halloween Experience, a one-of-a-kind nighttime tour that will take place at two different times—8:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.—and promises to reveal the darkest and most intriguing side of this iconic Port wine house.
Amid shadows and century-old barrels, participants will be challenged to uncover what happened to The Don, the enigmatic figure who guards the brand’s secrets. The experience takes place in a setting specially prepared for the occasion, with themed decor and music, creating an atmosphere that promises to awaken all the senses.
Inspired by the murder mystery concept, this guided tour transports visitors into an immersive narrative where nothing is as it seems. Along the way, mysterious characters and hidden clues challenge the audience to unravel the mystery of The Don’s disappearance, in an engaging experience that combines history, intrigue, and the elegance of the Sandeman universe.
At the end, visitors are invited to a tasting of Sandeman Port Wines, accompanied by sweets inspired by the spirit of Halloween—a perfect conclusion to an experience where pleasure and suspense go hand in hand.
