The Arinto grape variety from the Azores, unique to these islands, has become a favorite among winemakers due to its hardiness, productivity, and winemaking versatility. It thrives particularly well in plots near the sea and is now the most widely cultivated variety in the region. It produces wines with great freshness and salinity. This wine is made from grapes grown on a single vineyard located within the Cerca dos Frades estate in Santa Luzia on the northern coast of Pico Island.
Tasting notes
A complex aroma combining citrus fruits with a tropical touch and hints of the sea. On the palate, it is smooth, persistent, very fresh, and briny.
