The festival that brings together the best national chefs—challenging them to cook using only fire—is returning on September 18 and 19 at FIARTIL in Cascais, in partnership with Trinca Bolotas. Throughout the two-day event, the wines from Herdade do Peso will bring the authenticity, warmth, and aromas of their Alentejo roots to a young, urban, and cosmopolitan audience seeking innovative experiences and events with guaranteed quality.

With a strong connection to its essence and respect for nature, Trinca Bolotas will pair its wines with exclusive dishes presented by 14 chefs at a unique festival in Portugal that celebrates the origins of cuisine, slow cooking, and a more natural side of gastronomy. This partnership will last two years, with the brand’s participation in the festival’s 4th edition already confirmed.

In this year’s edition, Chefs on Fire will take place over two days for the first time. On each day, seven chefs will cook a meat or fish dish and a vegetarian dish over the fire pit, always prepared with the finest local ingredients. On September 18, the chefs will be Diogo Noronha, Gil Fernandes, Hugo Candeias, Marlene Vieira, Miguel Laffan, Rodrigo Castelo, and Telmo Moutinho. On September 19, it will be the turn of Alexandre Silva, António Galapito, Carlos Afonso, Diogo Lopes, Luís Gaspar, Michele Marques, and Vítor Adão.

The festival also features a diverse musical lineup comprising ten Portuguese artists, including Dino Santiago, Legendary Tiger Man, Clã, and Samuel Úria.
