Pinot Noir

Framingham Pinot Noir tends toward a more “feminine” style, exhibiting grace and charm with a wide range of flavors and good structure to add interest. The grapes come from seven sites in the Wairau Valley. Each plot was hand-harvested and vinified separately; the proportion of whole clusters included and the time spent on the skins vary by plot.

Tasting notes

The nose features earthy notes with hints of oak and smoked meat, complemented by subtle floral and red fruit notes. On the palate, notes of red berries and cherries blend with mineral and graphite sensations. It is a well-integrated wine with a delicate tannic structure.
