Mélange à Trois rounds out its lineup with a white and a rosé and updates its packaging

With two new wines—White and Rosé—and a fresh new look, Mélange à Trois “goes beyond the obvious” and invites you to rediscover the Dão region. Innovative and laid-back by nature, with Mélange à Trois, seeing is believing—or, in this case, tasting is believing.

Unafraid to take risks, blending ideas, talent, and boldness, Mélange à Trois rounds out its lineup with two new wines—a White and a Rosé—and presents a fresher, more contemporary look.

If three is God’s number, Mélange à Trois has no intention of upsetting divine mathematics and is launching Mélange à Trois White and Mélange à Trois Rosé, which join the existing Red.  Following the same principle as the red wine’s three grape varieties (Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, and Alfrocheiro), the new wines continue to highlight and celebrate the Dão region’s most prized grape varieties.

Mélange à Trois White is composed of Gouveio, Encruzado, and Malvasia-Fina. Gouveio brings exotic aromatic intensity, while Malvasia-Fina imparts a floral character and structure on the palate, which is complemented by the elegance and complexity of Encruzado. Mélange à Trois Rosé, on the other hand, reflects the intensity, aromatic complexity, and mouthfeel provided by Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, enriched by the elegance and freshness of Jaen. The new blends combine aromas and elegance, exploring the brand’s experimental spirit, and promise to surprise even the most discerning palates.

“The introduction of a white wine and a rosé is a natural evolution of the brand, now that Mélange à Trois Red has established itself in the market, but also an opportunity to expand the Mélange experience and the Dão region to new audiences,” says Raquel Seabra, Director of Sogrape. “Meanwhile, the changes to the packaging make the brand more appealing, with clearer and simpler information, especially as we expand the range,” she concludes.

This change accompanies the expansion of the Mélange lineup and features a new capsule design and more colorful, eye-catching labels. In keeping with the concept of bringing the grape varieties to life through the characters on the green motorcycle—just as in Mélange à Trois Red—the new White and Rosé feature new outfits that complement Mélange’s playful graphic design, notably a dog.
