Quinta do Seixo has created a special program for the grape harvest season, which includes grape picking and foot-treading in wine presses. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take a close-up tour of the winery and enjoy a harvest-themed lunch at the SEIXO by Vasco Coelho Santos restaurant, designed especially for this occasion.
On September 19 and 27, as well as October 4, Quinta do Seixo offers an experience entirely dedicated to the grape harvest. The program includes a tour of the vineyard and grape harvesting, followed by a detailed tour of the winery and the chance to try foot-treading in the traditional granite wine presses.
At the end of this segment, two special tastings are also scheduled: a tasting of Douro grape varieties and a tasting of Sandeman Port Wines, both preceding lunch at the SEIXO – By Vasco Coelho Santos restaurant, featuring a special harvest-themed menu and live music to liven up the day. Reservations must be made via email at [email protected], and groups are limited to a maximum of 25 participants so that everyone can fully enjoy the planned program.
