After unveiling its new identity, Papa Figos returns to Chefs on Fire, which takes place on September 19 and 20 at Marechal Carmona Park in Cascais. An official partner of the festival since 2024 and a regular presence at recent editions, Papa Figos is strengthening its connection this year to one of the country’s most important culinary events, establishing itself as the wine that accompanies great moments of togetherness around the table. The brand will also take this opportunity to present a preview of its first out-of-home campaign. Under the slogan “Something good is in the air” and inspired by the world of birdwatching that characterizes the brand’s new visual identity, the campaign will bring an extension of the Papa Figos experience to the festival grounds, immersing visitors in the spirit of the event even before they enter the venue.
At a festival where fire, nature, and gastronomy come together, Papa Figos brings an even stronger presence to the venue, with three of its own bars spread throughout the space and an experience designed to showcase its wines alongside the creations of some of today’s most renowned chefs. The brand invites visitors to discover pairings between fire-cooked cuisine and its Papa Figos Red, White, and Rosé wines, celebrating a contemporary Douro—light and made to be shared.
More than just a wine exhibition, Papa Figos transforms its participation into an immersive experience, inspired by the world of birdwatching—a central element of the brand’s new identity. Over the course of the two days, visitors will be able to participate in contests, receive exclusive gifts, and discover various activities that bring the concept “Something good is in the air” to life, connecting the public with the brand’s world in a relaxed and engaging way.
Chefs on Fire also marks the debut of the capsule clothing collection developed in partnership with DREWM. Inspired by Papa Figos’ revamped visual identity, the pieces will be worn by the team during the festival and will feature in the brand’s various activations and contests, as well as being part of the exclusive giveaways prepared for visitors.
The 2026 edition of Chefs on Fire will feature more than 30 chefs, 20 Repsol Suns, and 12 Michelin stars, reaffirming the festival’s position as one of the most prominent outdoor culinary celebrations in Portugal. In 2025, the event welcomed over 10,000 visitors, 16% of whom came from international markets, representing 47 nationalities. The United Kingdom and the United States topped the list of countries of origin for visitors attending the two-day festival.
With this participation, Papa Figos continues to consolidate its presence at the leading gastronomy and lifestyle events in Portugal. Chefs on Fire is a stage where the brand comes to life by bringing together what lies at the heart of its universe: good food, wine, nature, and people gathered around the table.
In an outdoor setting marked by sharing and camaraderie, visitors are invited to discover the brand in its most natural context, through food and wine pairings, brand experiences, and moments of discovery where something special awaits in every glass.
